Transverse Wave
What is a Transverse Wave:
Example:
- A transverse wave is a wave where the particles of the medium move in a direction perpendicular to the direction that the wave moves
- They are sorted by the particle motion that's perpendicular to the motion of the wave
Example:
- As you can see, energy is being transported through the dots from left to right
- It is also moving up and down
